GVEA Board campaign
Update June 12, 2018 – I was elected with a margin of 5 votes. My main opponent chose to go negative on me while ignoring his own record on the board. Sadly, it did affect the vote and I believe led to a reduced turnout. Despite this, I didn’t attack him or his record and, while only 5 votes, I continue to serve our members and GVEA diligently.

I am running for re-election to the GVEA board following my first 3 year term. While a lot has been accomplished, there is of course more to be done. I pledge to represent GVEA as a director with sincerity, diligence, and consensus, but asking the hard questions when needed to help GVEA be the electric cooperative that truly serves its members.

Many of these are more achievable through technology. With my advocacy and support from others, GVEA is upping the game on joining the 21st century with upgraded technology for operations and member communications, but more remains to be done.
One of my opponents has disappointedly gone negative with inaccuracies and inconsistencies about my record and intent. I respond to those with Just the Facts.
